Important message from the Oaklyn Police Department
On-Street Parking will continue to be prohibited Sunday evening into Monday. Please find alternate parking.
All Borough Offices, including the Municipal Court, will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Attention all Oaklyn Seniors
We are happy to report that the Camden County Snow Removal Program is back and available to seniors and disabled persons.
Eligibility requirements are as follows:
Must be at least age 65 and/or physically disabled
Must be the homeowner of the residence
Must be a resident of Camden County
Must not have a physically abled person or person under the age of 65 living in the same residence
Must have exhausted other attempts of receiving snow removal services
The Senior Snow Removal Hotline will be open for 24 hours following a minimum of four inches of snow accumulation. To be added to the list, residents can call (856) 783-4808 ext. 5035 from 8am to 4pm. Calls to other extensions or emails will not be answered. When leaving a voicemail during unstaffed hours, residents must include their full name, home address, age, and a call-back number, and they will receive a call-back during staffed hours to confirm eligibility.
Due to the upcoming storm, the County anticipates the demand for the program will be very high. There is no guaranteed timeframe for when the crews will arrive at a residence. It may take several days depending on the call volume, number of crews available, and the amount of snow accumulation. With that said, this program should be treated as a last resort for snow removal services.

Good afternoon, this is Mayor Brandley with an important message concerning the upcoming Winter Storm that’s predicted to start late Saturday night and continue into Monday.
Forecasts are showing that this storm will produce a significant amount of snowfall and potentially ice on our area.
For our residents’ safety, we ask that everyone please comply with:
Oaklyn Borough Ordinance 120-7, which prohibits the parking, on any street within the Borough, of any vehicle whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the street. We ask that all vehicles remain off the streets until the snow has stopped and the streets have been sufficiently plowed to the extent that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic. Before the snow starts, we ask that you please make arrangements to park in your driveway, your neighbor’s driveway, with permission, or you can also utilize our Municipal parking lots for off-street parking. Plowable snow is expected and this ordinance will be strictly enforced.
We also ask that everyone comply with:
Ordinance 112-8,which prohibits the accumulation of snow on your sidewalks after 24 hours have past from when the snow or precipitation has ended.
Please make arrangements to have all your sidewalks cleared within this time frame to ensure pedestrian safety throughout town.
Compliance on these two ordinances will greatly increase the safety of our residents and school children in the days following the storm as temperatures will remain below freezing for a few days.
Our Police, Fire, OEM and Public Works Departments will be staffed and responding throughout the storm. Please call 911 for all emergencies and call 856-854-0045 for the police non emergency line. Everyone please be safe and look out for your neighbors and our seniors. Thank you all for your anticipated cooperation.

A special workshop for Seniors. Come join us for an hour long seminar full of buttons, beeps and basics taught by two local 8th grade tech pros. If you’ve often wondered if your smartphone is smarter than you, this is the place to be. This no-judgement workshop will show you the basics and then some at a comfortable pace.
