Good afternoon this is Mayor Brandley. The weather forecast is calling for some more snow again today and into tomorrow morning. I am seeing snow starting in about an hour, at 5pm today, and ending somewhere around 9am tomorrow morning. They are predicting 3"-6" of snowfall. Our Public Works Department will be out there salting and plowing during the storm to ensure our roadways remain passable and safe for us all to use. The Borough asks that everyone please follow Ordinance 120-7 that states no parking on any streets in the Borough when snow is falling, and accumulation covers the streets. We ask that everyone follows this Ordinance so that our DPW can do their job effectively and efficiently. So please plan now to park your vehicles in your driveways or in our Borough parking lots. We have 3 Borough parking lots in town, and they are located behind the Borough Hall, across the street from the Oaklyn Manor Bar and across the street from Tonewood Brewing. We also ask that everyone please follow Ordinance 112-8 which prohibits the accumulation of snow. So please clear your sidewalks 24 hours after the snow has stopped falling for the safety of others. Let's all work together and help each other out, especially our senior residents who may need assistance during these weather conditions. As always, please call 856-854-0045 for anything non-emergency and call 911 for all emergencies. Take care and be safe everyone.

Attention residents- As we await our first winter storm of the season we want to remind residents of a few Borough Ordinances for winter weather. Please do not park vehicles in the street if snow covered. If you do not have a driveway, vehicles can be parked in any of the three Borough lots. Manor Ave lot, Woodland Terrace lot or the lot at the Borough Hall. Also, it is the homeowner's responsibility to remove all snow from public sidewalks. Do not place snow in the street and be mindful of our public works workers who will be working thru out the storm to keep our streets safe for everyone. Please stay safe everyone!
